I left a lot of my winter cycling gear at work, forecast for tomorrow is cold and wet, so that was as good an excuse as any for a shopping trip at REI. The hat, pants and gloves are new.
What I wear for winter rain cycling.
Hat: REI Novarra cycling beanie.
Jacket: REI cycling jacket with pit zips.
Pants: REI Novarra Express pants -- waterproof/windproof.
Torso Base Layer: Polyproplylene thing I probably bought from Sierra Trading Post a few years back.
Leg Base Layer: expensive but oh-so-comfortable Patagonia "featherweight" Capiline long underwear.
Socks: Bridgedale hiking socks.
Gloves: Seirus outdoor gloves. Fleece-lined, windproof and waterproof (but not seam-sealed).
